Motorhome Area Valras-Plage

Valras-Plage Motorhome Area / The ideal base for exploring the Hérault coast

Valras-Plage: so much more than just a beach

People come to Valras-Plage for the sea, but they stay for everything else. An authentic fishing village set at the mouth of the Orb River—a human-scale seaside resort that has resisted overdevelopment—Valras-Plage offers what many resorts have lost: an active fishing port, the year-round Marty market hall, narrow streets that have retained their character, and an unbroken 4 km stretch of fine sand.

The Hello Summer Inn Van & Motorhome Camp is located 800 meters from the sea and 500 meters from the town center. Park your van, and everything else is within walking distance.

A starting point, not a final destination

From the site, the Hérault coast opens up in both directions. Cap d'Agde is 30 minutes away; Marseillan and the Étang de Thau are 25 minutes away; Sérignan and its Regional Museum of Contemporary Art are 9 minutes away; and Béziers—home to the UNESCO-listed Fonseranes Locks—is a 20-minute bus ride away (the stop is just 25 meters from the entrance).

You don't have to do everything from the van. The local bus network is excellent. Head out light in the morning and return in the evening with stories to tell.

Don't miss the Saint-Pierre Festival

Every year on the last weekend of June, Valras-Plage celebrates the Saint-Pierre Festival—a tribute to fishermen featuring a procession at sea, street entertainment, and a village atmosphere that reconnects with its roots. It is one of the most authentic events on the Hérault coast, located just an 11-minute walk from the site.
