Throughout the summer, don't miss the traditional open-air market held every Monday and Friday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM along Esplanade Turco and the scenic seafront. It’s the perfect place to pick up fresh, local southern French delicacies!

Every year at the end of June, Valras-Plage hosts a vibrant three-day celebration dedicated to Saint-Pierre, the patron saint of fishermen. Rich in local heritage, this is the most deeply rooted tradition in the hearts of locals—and it takes place just an 11-minute walk from Camping car et van camp Hello Summer Inn
Here is what you can experience during this festive weekend:
Friday Evening: Kick off the festivities with a lively local brass band (banda), live concerts, and a spectacular fireworks display launched from the pier.
Saturday: Enjoy beach volleyball tournaments, a paddleboard descent along the Orb River, and open-house visits of the SNSM (French Sea Rescue) lifeboats.
Sunday (The Heart of the Festival):
- Morning & Afternoon: Attend the solemn morning mass followed by a colorful street procession featuring the Voix d'Orb choir and local fishermen. Witness the wreath-laying ceremony at the lighthouse and indulge in a traditional mussel feast (mouclade) at the fishermen's village.
- Afternoon & Evening: Watch sailing regattas, thrilling traditional Languedoc water jousting tournaments on the Orb River, and join the local petanque competition.
- Nightfall: Participate in the solemn, candlelit lantern procession carrying the statue of Saint-Pierre back to the church, followed by a live DJ set to dance the night away until 12:30 AM.
Live concert by 70's Song on Esplanade Turco from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM, featuring hits from the Eagles, ABBA, Bob Marley, and Queen. Fireworks display at 10:30 PM from the pier. Fully accessible on foot from the camper van site.
Cœur de Pirate (July 22nd), Superbus (July 29th), Yanns (August 5th), DJ Jeny Preston (August 19th), Planet'Cabaret (August 26th). All performances take place on Esplanade Turco at 9:30 PM. Free admission.
Three tournaments: August 1st (juniors and heavy/middleweight), August 9th (seniors), August 28th (night tournament Guy Combes Challenge). Located at Quai Bricard Soulier, right behind Esplanade Turco.
From July 1st to August 29th, every day except Saturday: fitness, muscle toning, Zumba, Pilates, and beach volleyball. Free of charge, registration on-site. BMX Freestyle Show on August 20th featuring Passion BMX Sérignan.
Flash sales, entertainment, fireworks, and shows along the seafront. The last major celebration of the season before the new school year starts.
All of these events take place in the streets, on the beach, at the harbor, or on Esplanade Turco—just a 10-minute walk from Hello Summer Inn. You won't have to search for parking, drive your van or motorhome, or figure out the way back after the fireworks.
Everything is easily accessible on foot, by bike, scooter, stroller, or bus:
Bus stop: Located just 25 meters from the campsite entrance.
Cycling paths: Bike trails start directly from the camper van site. The path along the Orb River takes you to the Orpellières nature reserve in 20 minutes, while the seafront path runs along the 4 km of beach all the way to Sérignan.
Free shuttle service: Running from June to September on major concert nights, so you don't have to worry about the return trip after the fireworks.
Perfect for kids: Ideal for strollers, kids' bikes, and scooters. The entire summer program is fully accessible without a car.
Proximity: The beach is just a 10-minute walk away, the Gulli Tour is 15 minutes away, and the beach library is 12 minutes away.
The green workshops held on Wednesdays and Fridays are free and do not require booking.

Hello Summer Inn is the place to be to enjoy it all without any hassle. The P2 Comfort Area welcomes families from April to October: 77 spacious pitches, electricity and sanitary facilities included, and a children's play area. The P1 Parking Area is open year-round, starting from €5 for 8 hours.
