Walking Trails
Two walking routes start from the Sérignan entrance:
A perfect destination for hiking, birdwatching and enjoying the Mediterranean in its most natural state.
The northern section of Valras-Plage lies outside the supervised swimming area and offers some of the best local conditions for surfing and stand-up paddleboarding when the sea breeze picks up.
Early morning is usually the ideal time before the beach becomes busier.
Fishing at the Jetty
The Valras-Plage jetty is a popular fishing spot throughout the year.
Local anglers are always happy to share their favourite fishing locations if you take the time to chat with them at Les Halles Marty in the morning.
Cap d'Agde (30 min)
Discover Cap d'Agde, famous for its black volcanic sand beaches, excellent watersports facilities, and one of the Mediterranean's most remarkable volcanic landscapes.
Marseillan (25 min)
Located between the Étang de Thau Lagoon and the Mediterranean Sea, Marseillan is one of the best places in southern France to enjoy fresh oysters and mussels served directly by local oyster farmers.
Don't miss a visit to the historic Noilly Prat Cellars, home to France's famous vermouth, in the heart of the medieval town.
Sète (45 min)
Known as the Venice of Languedoc, Sète combines authentic Mediterranean culture with spectacular scenery.
Explore Mont Saint-Clair, stroll along the Royal Canal, experience the traditional water jousting tournaments during summer, and visit the lively fish market where local fishermen land their daily catch.

Equipment rental is available along the seafront during the season.
Can I cycle to the beaches from the campervan area?
Yes. Both Valras-Plage Beach and Orpellières Beach are easily accessible by bicycle directly from the motorhome area.
For longer trips to Cap d'Agde, Marseillan, or Sète, we recommend travelling by campervan or public transport.
